Protection Suits |
The
Fragment protection suits are for EOD-personnel,
for a maximum of protection against fragments
(against 17 grain fragment according to
STANAG 2920), detonation pressure burns
and acid burns while offering the best possible
wearing comfort for secure and comfortable
use.
Material:
Outer fabric According to customer specification
e.g. Nomex flame-retardant.
Ballistic protection Aramid fabric, several
layers.
Front Protection Armour plates incl. collar
protector.
Helmet Fragment Protection Helmet, including
communication and ventilation.

• The protective outfit provides maximum
protection from fragments, detonation pressure,
burns and acidic burns to EOD personnel.
• Built-in communication equipment
(for hard wire or radio) allows communication
during the mission.
• The ballistic pads overlap to allow
easy body movement.
• The outfit can be adjusted in size
by variable straps and V-shaped velcro fasteners.
Putting on of the pants is facilitated by
fasteners at the side of the pants.
• Pockets can be attached to carry
tools.

Bullet Proof Vest type 90
: This is for protection level I to
IV inclusive groin protection. Type
90 vests can be equipped modular to
meet specific operational requirements
eg. With/without collar, stab protection,
ceramic insert. Steel insert, Aramid
panels and shock absorber. The vest
can be tailored to customer’s
specs. E.g flame resistant outer fabric,
choice of color, pockets etc. |

| Maritime
Bullet Proof Vest Type 90 W
: This is inclusive groin protection,
especially for maritime (under water)
operations. The vest is absolutely buoyancy
neutral and does not cause bubbles when
submerged. The ballistic material packages
are 100% water proof. Special outfit
e.g. pockets, collars, colours upon
request. Aramid
panels for protection level I (German
Standards for Body Armour). Additional
stab protection is available.
Individual equipped vests

| Undercover
Bullet Proof Vest Type MP (Body)
: Most comfortable bullet proof vest
designed to be worn absolutely invisible
e.g. underneath a shirt, even with an
open collar and looks like a T-shirt.
The vest consists of an outer "body"-shaped
cover and two allistic panels (front,
back), worn underneath. Overlaps guarantee
protection also at the sides. The vest
protects in accordance to protection
level I (German Standards for Body armour).
Additional flexible protection inserts
against stabs and e.g. injection needles
are available. Ballistic
Aramid panels. Protection level I,
in accordance to German Standards
for Body Armour. Additional flexible
inserts against stabbing e.g. with
knifes or injection needles.

Suits |
|
| The Cooling Suit
CSS-3 is designed to offer a safe and
cool environment for people who must
maintain a high level of efficiency
and concentration under extreme heat.
The system is ideally suited for persons
involved in bomb disposal and surveillance
operations as well as personnel in non-air-conditioned
armoured vehicles. The
CSS-3 cooling system uses ice water
to remove body heat produced during
strenuous work, especially in hot
environments. The suit requires no
hazardous pressurised canister or
toxic cooling agents. Made from machine
washable, fire retardant Nomex®
or Kermel® the CSS-3 cooling suit
also offers protection against heat
and flash fire. Testing of the suit
on the effects of over-pressure, fragmentation,
ballistics, body impact and heat have
shown this suit is suitable for use
under bomb suits, chemical suits and
many other applications where body
heat removal is desirable. The kit
includes a one-piece suit design with
cooling on trunks, arms and legs,
a close fitting open faced hood with
cooling for head, a cooling unit and
pouch, two water bottles, battery
pack and carrying bag

| Fragment
Protection Blankets |
The Fragment Protection
Blanket can offer significant protection,
in cases when a dangerous item may
explode within a relatively short
time, e.g. time bombs. Covering the
item, in many cases significantly
reduce the impact of the explosion.
Fragments, mainly
lateral ones will be caught and kept
back by the blanket and the ring.
In addition the special design of
the blanket "channels" the
main impact of the explosion and directs
it upwards. The blast and the blanket
will escape vertically (parachute-effect),
horizontal impact is largely reduced. |
